I'd started a blog a long time ago, but I never had the time
(ok, I never made the time) to actually write.
Just thought that my life was not that special to write about.
Well, I've changed my mind, I guess. Here, let me try:
Hi, my name is Frizz, i'll be 24 at the end of this month, new-born Christian; trying to do Gods will everyday and .. I want to cut my hair!
Now this one is a BIG descision. And I mean B.I.G!
Why? Because I'm a afro-caribbean lady. And, to all my women with afro's .. our hair does not grow that fast!
Our hair grows "at an average rate of approximately 256 micrometers per day, while that of Caucasians grows at approximately 396 micrometers per day." as told by Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural_hair).
So, if you cut it, you'll be waiting, say, 2,5 years for a shoulderlenght do'?
Because every 3 months we have to cut the " points"?
So, I was wondering what kind of do' would fit me?
Let's say, I'm ready for the change. It's time to start something new, don't you think? Everyday you have a chance to change something: your style, room, house, job, life or even the world! It begins with you, right?
Isaiah 33:6 says: " And she (or he) will have no more fear of change, being full of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge: the fear of the Lord is her wealth ."
Sometimes. we' re afraid to change the little things. So why think 'bout changing the world if we can't even change the millions of insecurities we have in our minds? We are more than able and you know why?
Because God says so!
Deutronomy 16:17 says: " Every man is to give as he is able, in the measure of the blessing which the Lord your God has given you."
Yeah, I dream of changing the world. And I know it goes one person at a time! And to that first person, I'll spread the message of love, peace and a whole lotta salvation for the soul! But first, I will start with myself .. my hair do', that is!
Thought about Rihanna's cut or 'the Rihanna' as people call it nowadays ..
I'll keep on searching for the right one ..
Here are some ideas:

Change can be uncomfortable, because we don't know what the impact will be in the future! But a change .. can do you good! You can start now!
Till nxt writing!
*Mwah* Frizz
