Dreams ..

.. do come true! Just keep the faith, cause faith is the hope for things not seen.

Yesterday, while walking to my usual Kingdom dancers rehearsal,
(yes, I'm in a church dancegroup that's blessed all the way!)
I was listening to a gospel/holyhiphop mixtape.

By the way, I love listing to Holy hiphop mixes, because they're so upbeat and they're full of the Good Word! And being a traveling lady,
it's the best solution to download a mixtape on my phone and just have all the blessed song together in one hour!
(Saves time from downloading one paticular song at a time, to fill my phone with blessed music!)

So, on my way, I heared a young preacher talking on the mixtape, saying: " When He made you, He had a name for you. He had a plan for you. He had a dream already for you".. That's what got my attention, standing in the middle of the road, by the way.
"In fact, when you think you're living your dream, you're living what He dreamed for you."

I laughed.

I was enlighted by those words.
See, because I am Miss dreamer herself and I dream and hope for things that seem impossible.
I have the faith in very big things that people call me crazy for or tell me to look at little closer at reality for a change.
Still I believe them all to come true! Let me give you an example:

My aunt; a women of mid 60's. Beautiful, old school and sharp.
The fact that she is my aunt alone makes me love her. Always the health-freak, going to the gym, running tracks, always making sure she'd never ate someting to fat or sugary. You know, that would give you those "elderly diseases" as she would call them.

"No, honey, I'm not gonna eat that! They say it's a slow ride to high cholesterol if you eat that." When I saw her, watching her diet like that (that she didn't need), I could only admire and applaud her ..

And now, I still do that ..
Even now, that she had a tumor and the cancer had spread out to her stomach .. I still applaud her, because she is running on a different track, but with that same confidence.
She is not giving up, even if she has a rough day and the road is full of hill and bumps. Yeah, sometimes she does want to give up .. and then I ask God if I can keep that strength for her .. If she loses hope, I'll hope for her .. when she can't pray, I'll pray for her.

And that's what I'm doing .. I don't care what the doctor says .. I'm dreaming of a day that she'll walk. Even run! She will .. and I want to believe that for her ..
Because this is what the Lord Jesus says in Mark 16:17-18 : "And these signs will be with those who have faith: in my name they will send out evil spirits; and they will make use of new languages; They will take up snakes, and if there is poison in their drink, it will do them no evil; they will put their hands on those who are ill, and they will get well."

We have to know that God will provide for His children! But His children have to believe, have faith, live in hope for what they dream of. Dreams do come true .. In Gods hands. Because, as the young preacher said:
He already had a dream for you and you are living what He has dreamed for you.

What we also need to learn is to wait on the right time
for the dream to come true!

Wait .. *sighn*

That is a tough thing to do, but these words encourage me every time:
"But those who are waiting for the Lord will have new strength; they will get wings like eagles: running, they will not be tired, and walking, they will have no weariness." - Isaiah 40:31

Again, I can feel the ends of my mouth touching my ears! Smiling .. BIG TIME!

She will make it and I believe it! Me and my family will keep on praying for her.

Angels ..

.. do exist.

It took me a long time to realize this. I just thought that people, who didn't believe in God,
would just say that angels were the one who could make miracles happen.
You know, just to put the whole idea of God existing out of the picture (to avoid dissapointment)
You know, the "my guardian angels are always with me" - type of sentences.
But aha, guardian angels do exist!

Don't get me wrong .. I always thought angels did exist, as Gods helpers in Heaven. I didn't think they would help us around here on earth. Pretty weird thought, huh? Thought so, too!

What I thought was, that God (because He lives in us) help us all by Himself. ..
and yes He is able to do it ALL BY HIMSELF! He is greater than all the earth!
And I do mean ALL THE EARTH!

Moi, when I'm in my curiousity mode (and thats pretty often), always want to see for myself what the Bible says about important subjects. And this being a V.I.S. (Very Important Subject), I wanted to know for sure if the Bible does speak precisely about angels taking care of you and me.
Well, God pointed me on the facts Himself and these are the following verses I found:

Matthew 4:6: "He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone."

Here is another beautiful sentence of the Bible that explains why angels are here with us:

Luke 4:10: "He will give His angels orders to take care of you"

Did you really think God was only taking about Jesus being taking care of by angels?
Don't get me wrong: Jesus is MUCH HIGHER THAN ALL OF US!
The angels MUST take care of Him! It was and still is an order of God, because Jesus is sitting on His right hand! God loves His Only Begotten Son very very dearly!
And He loves us to! Because we believe in Him and His Son!
That is why He wants His angels to help us, too!

We get tempted, too! Don't you feel weak, in period of temptation and fight? (eventhough it is NOT yours to fight against?). When you can't stand straight anymore, you call on God for help and you can lean on His strenght! But God does not stop there ..
He give you a ten-star treatment: His angels will take care of you, so you will build up strenght to see the glory of another day.

Look here:

In Luke 12:8: "And I say to you that to everyone who gives witness to me before men, the Son of man will give witness before the angels."

Don't you think that they would be happy that you witness the existance of Jesus? They love you too, because God loves you! Check it out:

In Luke 15:10: ( and this is what Jesus said to His apostles)
" Even so, I say to you, There is joy among the angels of God, when one sinner is turned away from his wrongdoing."

Told y'all!

So, my quest biblical subjects is not finished yet ..
Heck, the whole Bible is an amazing quest! And I love it!

It's the book of life, you know?
