For every will there is a example of a way ..

For those that read my Different types of honey posts, know that I strongly feel the need to discuss the matters/issues about the lack of self-love of young women!

But I believe that for every issue, there is solution and sometimes you need an example .. see how somebody else is embrassing themselfs. Somebody that looks a lil' like you! There is always somebody to set the example of self-love and natural beauty! And eventhough I can only show you the outward beauty of an certain example, it has to start from the inside, somehow! So next to the DTH post, i'll give you the examples of true beautiful women (in my eyes)..

Different types of honey pt 2: How far women go to "look sexy" (in the wordly eye)

Back after a week ..
And it was a peaceful one .. just me and God! Amazing!
But in my 7 day hiatus, I still couldn't keep my mind of certain
"beautychanges" that are so "it" these days..

Like the other day I was waiting for my tram to come
and take me home ..
An oh- so relaxin' moment to just lettin' my mind reflect on the day and come to rest! You just don't want ANYBODY to distract you from that moment of peace ..
Well, so much for wishful thinking, 'cause something on my right side was totally distracting me ..

A gigantic booty!

And not the meaty-kind .. This one was PUMPED!
No seriously, It looked like a pumped up football!
If you'd try to squeeze it, it would slide outta yo' fingers!
I kept on looking at the woman with disbelieve and amasement by the outcome. I wondered what the reason was she'd done it in the first place?! Didn't it feel like carrying and sittin' on a skippy ball?

But ofcourse, she's not the only one walking with that paticular new piece. This happends everyday ..
Girls be showin' and giratin' something that isn't even "what they momma gave them". They just found Dr Illusion to give them somethin' "brand new" to flant.

But still: Why the sudden change? Well, I don't even have to tell ya .. But for those that need a lil' help ..

Example #1: In this world, superficiality is all around. The world evolves around looks and status! So when that's of high priority, the media will make it a even HIGHER priority in all of their products. Now, women love all kinds of media, especially fashion magazines! That's a fact ..
That's where we get our latest fashion, lifestyle and career facts from! But it's not just about those topic. Models are included, too! And unintentionally, we compare ourself with some of those models .. And if women see model A looking gorgeous in the hottest new bikini with a firm behind, we, women, walk to the mirror and suddenly look at ours ..

Be honest, you'll start thinkin' of 1) the gym or 2) .. Dr Illusion! Unfortunately, alot of women will visit Dr Illusion after that certain doubt!

On this site the surgical stats are shown per year. The lastest stats of 2008 show that 10.2 million surgeries took place!
Meaning 10.2 million people in the USA, alone!!
The top surgical procedures being Breast implants (355,671 thousand) and Liposuction (309,692 thousand).
Oh and another shocker .. the beginning age starts at 16! So what this means is, that (young) women dominate the plastic surgical stats with more than 50%!

Honestly, do you really think that you'll look prettier with a bigger behind, two pumped up girlfriends or anything that can be constructed on your body?

Ok, wait .. In some cases, I can understand the necissity!

Example #2 : Some women are not blessed with two full girlfriends.. Just two buttons ..



And some are blessed with girlfriend that create the "baglady" effect .. Or some have a crooked nose, lil' to no teeth or any kind of "Extreme Make-over battle".. If that's the case, I'd could understand why you're seeking for help, but still .. But doing it in the name of "beautification", because of your rooted lack-of-self-esteem problem is a serious problem! And the women that do it are beautiful already! Then they do it ones and get hooked ..

A pity ..



Just because somebody or something told you, you don't have what it takes, doesn't mean it's true! you are YOU and there is no copy of you, Thank God! So that mean your EXTREMELY SPECIAL! Even twins are individuals, eventhough they look alike! You should be proud that there's one of you walking around this earth! I know I am! I'm unique with all I am and all that is in me!

Like I said in my last post: You are made in Gods image and He thinks you are perfect! No plastic surgeon can change what is inside of you! Who you are in your heart and soul is who you reflect on the outside! Be the best inside, so it can come out and you don't need to change anything!

I praise God for making me as His likeness, His image, and so are you!

Never, ever let standards of the world change your view of the beautiful you!

Oeh .. I'm so upset!
So the other day, I was talking to my dear niece Chanty. 17, beautiful dark skinned girl, with a body to die for! Somehow, our convo's always go from God to guys, to a mixture of both. This time she was telling me about the kind of guys she diggs, but that those guys are always falling for the SAME TYPE/KIND OF GIRLS! You know, the kind of girls you see in videos ..

No clue? Pic the visual:
- Curled or sleek hair, (most of the times it's a weave)
- Yellow, red or brown bone (read: light bright, red undertone and caramel-brown: Black mixed with Hispanic, Euro, Asian etc.)
- Thick or very nicely built (full frontal, small waist, biiiig hips, thighs n booty)
- A pair of babygirl/bedroom eyes (big/small eyes with long lashes)
- And thick candy rose lips

Ok, lemme give you a visual then:

Now, I think this woman is very BEAUTIFUL! I truely do!
But, there a alot of girls/women, that feel they're being overlooked by men, just 'cause they do NOT look like her or have any of the "qualities" of the notorious list. Living in a society that's based on superficiality, with video's that show you how to look, walk, live and have the " be like me or be nothing" mentality, alot of beautiful girls/women are gettin' infected by it .. the wrong way.

Because this is an issue that is being overlooked, but so important, I'll spend some of my precious blogspace on this subject. To keep this post descent (lenght wise), I will post this matter in different parts ... I told you it was heavy on my heart!

Example #1 : I know that there are alot of beautiful darkskinned/mocha girls that think they're underrated (not beautiful), 'cause their fellow black sisters are f.e. not displayed as the singer's interest in his last video. Producers rather have a interest in a girl looking like the one shown in the last picture or at least with some of the features of the list. But these beautiful darkskinned/mocha girls do lead in another part of the video ..


The booty-poppin' part ..
Yes, it is a fact that alot of darkskinned/mocha ladies, no matter how beautiful, are casted to pop sum .. Girls/women of the same shades feel like they either have to pop or rebuild sum', in order to be liked by anyone!

I know what you're thinkin' .. "Ladies need to stop that nonsence and start loving themselves no matter how they look or what skincolour they have/Didn't their mama's teach them anything about selfrespect and selflove?" Believe me, I feel the same way, and there is NOTHING more important than loving yourself! But its still a big thing for them to say "I am beautiful"!

So what I'm about to share now, goes out to ALL WOMEN!! black, white, yellow, green .. All y'all!!
What you shouldn't do is compare yourself with a model from a video or any media in paticular!! It's ok to look at magazines for a cute top or new shade of gloss, but don't shop for the same eyes and thighs! You ARE Gods masterpiece! You ARE made in HIS likeness! You're beautiful and perfect just the way you are!!

I'll tell you, look around or surf @ community sites! Girls/women are really trying to look like those vixens! Same poses, same clothes (only cheaper), same hair .. everything!! They're even giving themself the vixens last name!! That made me so upset!! I wanted to shake the girl and tell her:

Ok, so what happend to you?? Where did you put yourself? In the fridge? Probably, 'cause you think it's cool .. Pretending to be someone else! -Frizz

They just have no idea how good it feels to be your individual/original self instead of being a copy of somebody else ..

A woman ..

.. that will stand up to be all she can be, through Christ.
That is what I want to be!

Everytime.

Everytime the Lord gives me a verse that just makes all the bells in my head ring loadly!

You know .. that 'Ahaaaaa' moment?
He is a pro in amazing me over and over again and He just won't stop!
Frank, I don't want Him to either! Thank you Jesus!

For example: He gave me this verse on May 9th, 2008 and it's still on my mind:

Proverbs 31: 30 says: 'Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised!' (NLT trans.)

Every single day women ask themselves who they are.
They ask themselves if they are who they should be.
Am I, as a woman, who I should be in God?

These q's just pop up in a womans head:
* Do I have the right jobs and if so, do I practice it in the right way?
* Do my brothers and sisters from church like me?
*Do I cater to my family good enough as a true woman of God should do?
*Am I helpful enough at home as well as in church and do I, come close in, walk, talk and act like my Lord Jesus?

Well, If you ask me, the answer is not that hard ..

First of all,
There is NO basic manual on "Being the perfect God fearing woman"
so you can just stop doubting about yourself right this minute!
(Don't even think people can write a book 'bout that one!)

I know, sometimes you see a sister in church who dresses nice ..
Talks and walks the right way, obeys God in the right way
(so it seems to you) and you think to yourself
"I wish I was like her" ..

No, no no!

You are you!
God already said to all His children in Deuteronomy 12:19

'But the Lord has taken you (fill your name here) out of the flaming fire, out of Egypt (or where ever you're from), to be to Him the people of His heritage, as you are today!' (BIBE trans.)

You are His heir, girl! Just like those rich girls from tv.
They're heir to their grandfathers billion dollar fortunes, only God has more to offer! Much more y Muchos Mas!

'Cause when you believe in your Father God, He will show you that
you're the prettiest pearl in His hand!
Yeah, you may feel insecure about yourself (I'm confessing now),
but try (in due time) to see yourself through Gods eyes!
When you repent and ask Him why He loves you .. trust me,
He'll show you and you'll be spurised what He sees!

Don't be scared if this world gives you even a little ounce of insecurity.
The world will always make you feel insecure ..
Heck, they'll even shove it in your face:
Fashion magazines, videoclips and even those "Lose weight-pills-they-tell-and-then-sell-that-junk"commercials!
Young girls of 12 that want to look like anorexic models
'cause they show the newest jeans and "it fits great" .. Shame.

God has blessed you with so much more than what this world can or will ever offer you, baby!!

Sisters, it's very important to respect and live by His laws!
You'll have to pray to Him ONLY and be a God fearing woman.
Seek His loving kindness, His guidance, believe in His word and most important of all: Give all of YOURSELF to Him!
Even if you don't know how ..
He'll show you how to let yourself go in His arms.
Just ask Him. That's all part of the relationship!
Because for real, He gave His only Son to die for your sins!
And because of that sacrifice, you have the chance to have a relationship with your Father!

Don't worry 'bout being the best Christian woman in your church,
It's not the latest episode of "God's Next Sanctified and Holy Ghost-filled Church Model" (It doesn't even sound cute!)
No, this is your lifes fairytale of God's New-born Child.
You are free and free indeed to let Him restore your heart
and make you into the woman He wants you to be ..
Through Him you are everything that you should be.

Through Him you are perfect! and here's the proof!:

Genesis 1:27 says:
'And God made man in His image (whuuuuut?! told ya!), in the image of God He made him: male and female He made them' (BIBE trans.)

God is perfect, right? and you are made as His image, right? nuff said!
Oh and it doesn't stop there ..

Genesis 1:31 says:
'And God saw everything which He had made(yea everything!) and it was good'. (BIBE trans.)

And this one:

Psalm 139:14 says:
'I will give thanks unto Thee; For I am fearfully and wonderfully made: (yathzee!) Wonderful are thy works; And that my soul knoweth right well' (ASV trans.)

Believe ONLY in Him and He'll let you meet the most beautiful woman in the world:
